Postgraduate Program Universitas Negeri Jakarta always strives to improve its quality and performance by going through activities in the quality assurance internally and externally. Internal Quality Assurance (SPMI) conducts through the accreditation and certification process while External Quality Assurance (SPME) conducts management quality development prosses, monitoring and evaluation, as well as internal quality audit.

Internal quality development by postgraduate State University of Jakarta is currently focused on academic quality assurance system even though academic activities can not be released from the non-academic aspects (Managerial, Administrative) facilities and infrastructure, information systems etc.), then the internal quality assurance system still uses the standards developed by the Quality Assurance System (SPM) the State University of Jakarta.

The Postgraduate State University of Jakarta has a quality assurance group that refers to the University-level quality assurance agency, the postgraduate quality assurance group under the coordination of assistant director of academic fields, the quality assurance group is formed based on the Rector’s Decree, academic Quality Assurance at the University level.

Academic quality assurance at postgraduate level of the State University of Jakarta consists of Director and Assistant Director of Academic Affairs, and representatives of the Study Program. The Director is responsible for the implementation of education, research, and community service, as well as the coaching of academic personnel, administrative personnel, and students. The Director is responsible for the guarantee of academic quality in the Postgraduate State University of Jakarta. In carrying out academic responsibilities, the Director is assisted by the Deputy Director of Academic Affairs. Director of Academic Affairs, responsible for the composition of: (1) Academic Standards Postgraduate State University of Jakarta, (2) Academic Quality Manual Postgraduate State University of Jakarta, and (3) Manual of Academic Quality Procedures Postgraduate State University of Jakarta in accordance with Academic Standards, Academic Quality Manual, and Procedure Manual at the University level.
